About the Celebration
Celebrated with deep devotion and joy by the Galo tribe, Mopin invokes Goddess Mopin for agricultural abundance and protection against adversity. Celebrants wear pristine white garments and lovingly smear holy rice flour (Ette) on friends and elders.
