About the Celebration
The biggest seasonal festival of the Apatani community. Celebrated with sacred rituals at the village altar (Dree Yugyang) to appease agrarian deities Tamu, Harniang, and Metii, safeguarding paddy crops from seasonal pests and summer floods.
